Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Holomera, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Service description

Holomera is a multi-tenant cloud business-management platform providing point of sale, inventory, accounting, HR, restaurant management and AI-powered analytics.

3. Free trial

• Trial availability and duration depend on the selected product and plan.
• The Free plan includes 20 MB of database storage and 20 MB of file storage.

• Every plan includes all features, unlimited users and unlimited locations.

4. Paid plans and pricing

• Additional companies require a paid subscription.
• Plans differ only in storage capacity; their features are identical.
• Prices are listed in {TODO: billing currency}; local conversions are estimates only.
• Your subscription price is locked at the rate that applied when you subscribed.

5. Payment and billing

• Card payments are processed securely through PayHere.
• Bank transfers require receipt verification and administrator approval.
• Annual subscriptions are billed upfront, and plan changes are prorated.

6. Cancellation and renewal

• You may cancel at any time; service continues to the end of the billing period.
• Expired subscriptions receive a 3-day grace period and then become read-only.
• Locked companies are scheduled for permanent deletion after 7 days, with email warnings before expiry and deletion.

7. Registration and security

• Provide accurate registration information and be at least 18 years old.
• Only one account is allowed per person, identified by a unique email and phone number.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

8. Data ownership and portability

• You retain full ownership of the business data you enter.
• We claim no intellectual-property rights over your content.
• You may export your data through the platform at any time.

9. AI-powered features

• AI features send relevant business data to third-party AI providers to generate insights.
• AI responses are informational only.
• You may use the platform without enabling AI features.

10. Storage limits

• Each plan has database and file-storage limits.
• At full capacity, writes pause while read access continues.
• You may upgrade storage without losing data.

11. Acceptable use

• Do not use the platform illegally, access another business's data or bypass security controls.
• Do not reverse engineer the service, disrupt it, or upload malicious content.

12. Intellectual property

Holomera's brand, design, code and documentation are our intellectual property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your business operations.

13. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for temporary interruptions or force-majeure events.

14. Limitation of liability

• Holomera is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
• Total liability is limited to amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.
• For Free-plan users, maximum liability is LKR 5,000.

15. Company deletion and termination

• Owners may delete a company at any time after password confirmation.
• Deletion permanently removes all company data.
• Remaining subscription time is credited to the account wallet.

16. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of {TODO: country}. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of {TODO: country}.
